Here you will be reading popular short stories or book summaries together.
After brief introductions and warm-up conversation, you will be presented with a text for reading.
Your English party host will model each sentence or paragraph and encourage you to repeat with matching pronunciation, rhythm and tone.
After reading, there will be a discussion of the main points in the story.

Be prepared to ask questions about new English words and phrases.
Some example questions might be as follows:

• What does “word or phrase” mean?
• Can you read “word or phrase” again?
• How do you usually use “word or phrase”?
• What’s another way to say “word or phrase”?
